Detailed Description of Course by Day

Jessica Eiseman’s Counseling Supervision Course is designed to meet the requirements outlined in the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §681.147 for LPC supervision. This 40-hour course is approved for continuing education units (CEUs) for Licensed Professional Counselors, including 14 hours focused on ethics and legal issues. It equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective and ethical supervisors, emphasizing compliance with professional standards and TAC rules. Additionally, the course fulfills Texas LPC requirements, which mandate that 50% of continuing education must come from approved providers.*

This course features a combination of interactive live instruction and self-paced assignments, providing flexibility while ensuring participants can complete the required training within the 90-day window specified by TAC §681.147(2).


Day 1 Description

*According to the Texas Administrative Code §681.140(f), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) must obtain at least 50% of their continuing education hours from one or more of the following approved providers:

  1. An international, national, regional, state, or local association of medical, mental, or behavioral health professionals.
  2. Public school districts, charter schools, or education service centers.
  3. City, county, state, or federal governmental entities.
  4. An institution of higher education accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, or the United States Department of Education.
  5. Religious or charitable organizations devoted to improving the mental or behavioral health of individuals.
  6. A licensee with supervisor status.
  7. A hospital or hospital system, including any clinic, division, or department within a hospital or hospital system.
